Responsibilities
* Support the council’s strategic objectives by providing legal support across our Legal Services department.
* Work closely with Senior Lawyers/Lawyers in the day‑to‑day management of ongoing cases across Criminal & Civil litigation, Commercial Property, Contracts and Adult Social Care.
* Ensure that all work undertaken supports the council in accordance with its policies, procedures and codes of practice.
* Contribute to the council’s “grow your own” strategy by participating in the Trainee Lawyer Programme.
