Commercial Property Post-Completion Assistant / Paralegal About the Firm Our client is a well-established law firm with a busy Commercial Property department. The team handles a wide range of transactions including acquisitions, disposals, development projects, leases and secured lending. The department is collaborative and supportive, with a strong focus on accuracy, client service and smooth file progression through to registration. The Role You will be responsible for managing all post-completion matters on commercial property transactions, ensuring deadlines are met and compliance is maintained. This is a key role within the department, supporting fee earners and maintaining excellent relationships with clients and third parties. Key Responsibilities Prepare and submit AP1 and FR1 applications to HM Land Registry for registration of titles Manage and track priority searches, OS1/OS2 and bankruptcy searches Draft and submit SDLT returns to HMRC Monitor requisitions from HM Land Registry and respond promptly Liaise with clients, lenders and other solicitors regarding post-completion matters Ensure compliance with internal procedures and SRA regulations Update case management systems and maintain accurate records Assist with closing and archiving files once complete Support fee earners with administrative tasks when required Salary & Benefits Competitive salary based on experience Opportunities for training and career progression into fee-earning roles Hybrid/flexible working options (after probation period, if applicable) Supportive team environment and ongoing professional development About You Experience in post-completion work, ideally within a Commercial Property team Strong understanding of HM Land Registry and HMRC requirements Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills Ability to manage deadlines and prioritise workload effectively Confident communicator with clients, colleagues and third parties Proficient in Microsoft Office and case management systems Previous experience as a conveyancing assistant, paralegal, or similar role in property law is desirable Apply today or contact Gayle Woolf for more information.
