RAC has a new opportunity for a Reception Handler on a 6-month FTC based in our Bradley Stoke office. The role involves taking inbound calls from customers and supporting the Legal Advisory team to meet service levels and business objectives, in accordance with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory frameworks for conduct of business.
You will handle calls from both internal and external customers, demonstrating empathy and objection handling skills. An excellent eye for detail is essential to maintain accurate audit trails for each case processed.
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, between 9am to 6pm. Shift pattern to be agreed.
What you will do:
1. Accurately record personal details on RAC systems and ensure all activity is logged correctly. Process call-backs efficiently in line with service level agreements.
2. Communicate with members, insurance companies, and internal & external departments via telephone, email, and post to facilitate the provision of legal advice professionally and efficiently.
3. Validate LEI policies using various methods to support Legal Advisors with their call-backs.
4. Work in compliance with standards set by the Financial Conduct Authority, Data Protection laws, and other relevant legislation, including PCI compliance activities.
5. Assist with administrative tasks such as collating, data entry, and maintaining management information, including validation of relevant policy data.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have experience with legal and insurance queries within a financial services team, and prior call center experience handling customer queries via telephone. Strong communication skills, both written and oral, and proficiency in Microsoft Office are required.
