Our Client is looking for a Business Support Officer in the NE4 region.
In this role you will be providing a telephone service as the first point of contact with a front line response to those who are in crisis or housing need.The role focuses on organisation, communication, record-keeping, and supporting management and staff with day-to-day administrative tasks.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
Manage filing systems (manual and electronic)
Maintain accurate records and databases
Schedule meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements
Prepare meeting agendas, take minutes, and follow up on action items
Handle confidential information responsibly
Requirements:
Strong communication skills
Computer literacy (word processing, spreadsheets, email)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong organisational and time-management abilities
Shift Pattern:
Monday - Friday (8am - 4.30pm)
