We are looking for a compassionate and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join the school on a full-time, long-term basis, starting in February 2026. Role Overview: As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers to support students’ learning, boost their confidence, and encourage personal growth. You will play a vital role in helping children develop key skills, build independence, and thrive both academically and emotionally. Key Responsibilities: Provide tailored 1:1 and small-group support to students. Assist with classroom organisation and support positive behaviour management. Adapt resources and activities to meet the diverse needs of learners. Assist teachers during lessons and classroom activities. Foster strong, trusting relationships with pupils and staff. Help create and maintain a calm, inclusive, and engaging learning environment. Monitor and report on pupils’ progress and overall wellbeing. Ideal Candidate: Previous experience working with children or young people in a school or similar environment is preferred. Patient, empathetic, and proactive in your approach to supporting students. Confident in behaviour management and classroom routines. Strong communication and teamwork skills. An understanding of inclusive practices and safeguarding standards.
