Alexander Steele are working with an established multi-site ambient food manufacturer in Durham who are looking to recruit a Senior NPD Technologist to join their Technical team.
This is a great opportunity for an NPD professional looking to work in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment, with a strong team structure and a real focus on product innovation.
Responsibilities:
* Leading and supporting NPD and EPD projects from concept through to launch.
* Creating and developing product samples for customer presentations and internal approval.
* Working cross-functionally with Technical, Production, and Commercial teams to ensure feasibility and alignment.
* Supporting factory trials, scale-up, and process validation activities.
* Managing and maintaining accurate development documentation, including trial reports and specifications.
* Staying up to date with food trends, competitor activity, and new ingredient opportunities.
On Offer:
* Annual Salary of £37,000
* 33 Days Annual Leave (including bank holidays)
* Monday to Friday – Office Hours
* Pension: 3% employer / 5% employee
