Location: Dover, Kent (Hybrid) Contract: Permanent Salary: £30,408 Closing Date: 30 June 2025 The role Part of the Finance team, the Senior Finance Analyst is a new and exciting role at Migrant Help. You will support the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Manager and Team leader with numerous financial analysis tasks, as and when they arise. Focusing on the foundational work of financial planning and analysis, including gathering data, building financial models and preparing reports. Role responsibilities Ensure there is a sound understanding of business areas in terms of both present as well as forecasted performance Assist the FP&A team with their lead on the preparation of the quarterly forecasts Support the Financial Reporting Manager with undertaking budgetary versus actual expenditure analysis, providing reports and meaningful information for Senior Finance Members. Support in developing project budgets on a full cost recovery basis, and in the preparation of donor report. Support undertaking grant and fund reconciliations periodically, assisting with scenario planning as required Work with both the FP&A Manager and Team Leader to develop financial models for various scenarios, including costing and pricing. Support the Bids and Grants team in carrying out due diligence, reporting on grant commitments and supporting impact reporting as required To work effectively and collaboratively with the Financial Operations Manager and Financial Reporting Manager to ensure all work is accurate and timely, including that the coding structure appropriately reflects funding streams.
