The many other highlights include industry-leading talent development initiatives and competitive benefits.The site administrator is an essential component to our warehouse teams, reporting directly into the General Manager andplaying a key role in maintaining smooth operations and ensuring the site meets company standards and requirements. Therole is an exciting and varied opportunity to gain exposure to all functions within a fun, fast-growing company with greatcareer opportunities.Specific Responsibilities:Monitoring and managing site consumables, placing orders to prevent shortages in consumables and packagingmaterialsRaising purchase ordersReconciling accounts payable invoicesLiaise with suppliers and manage queriesProcessing the weekly agency payroll, including reconciliation on rates, hours, and manager approvalsAnalysis of labour hours explaining key variancesMonth end support as required with opportunity to gain exposure to basic accounting principlesPreparing and raising customer invoicesGeneral site orderingUp to date records of site stockProvide accurate and efficient administrative support to the operation and finance teamGeneral site administrator dutiesSupporting site engagement activitiesCoordinating uniform ordering and managementKey skills for the role:Technical skills:Proficient in IT including MS Excel / OfficeDesirable – SAP experienceSoft skills & Experience:Ability to plan, prioritise and manage workload, with minimum supervisionDemonstrate drive, energy and a commitment to the continuous improvement of overall site performanceAttention to detailCommunicate effectively with all levelsFlexible, with a can-do attitudeQualifications & ExperienceExperience working in a similar environment, ideally warehousing / 3PLUndertaken similar rolesSelf-starter – able to manage the regular deliverables with the ad hoc and to identify where to invest more time forthe better outcome – without requiring step by step guidanceMaersk is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace, and we embrace different styles of thinking.
