4. Serve as the first point of contact for escalations and workload prioritization.
5. Review and advise on solution designs, ensuring alignment with security requirements and identifying potential risks.
6. Support security decision-making and approvals, funnelling key decisions to the Group Head.
7. Work across multiple business functions, supporting both on-prem and cloud environments (primarily AWS, with some GCP and Azure).
8. Apply knowledge of security frameworks such as ISO 27001 and NIST to ensure compliance and assurance.
9. Maintain a calm, focused approach under pressure, especially when dealing with sensitive or high-stakes projects.
About You
10. Strong background in security architecture, with the ability to read, critique, and improve technical designs.
11. Broad knowledge of the cybersecurity landscape, including both technical and governance aspects.
12. Experience working in agile environments, with a solid grasp of sprint planning and delivery.
13. Comfortable working across cloud platforms, especially AWS (expert-level knowledge not required).
14. Familiarity with security assurance, compliance, and risk management.
15. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
16. Able to lead by influence, not authority, and support a high-performing team culture.
