Cityworx are recruiting on behalf of an established, nurse-led community healthcare provider who is seeking a highly organised and proactive Business Support Officer / Administrator to provide essential administrative and operational support across its services.
This is a fast-paced position supporting clinical, compliance and operational teams working with complex care packages. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, accurate documentation and effective system support within a regulated healthcare environment.
This role is ideal for someone with healthcare administration experience who understands the importance of accuracy, confidentiality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Business & Administrative Support
* Provide day-to-day administrative support to clinical and operational teams
* Manage diaries, meetings, minutes and action tracking
* Handle correspondence, documentation and internal communications
* Support onboarding processes for new staff, including compliance documentation
Healthcare Systems & Documentation
* Maintain accurate records across healthcare and operational systems
* Support data entry, reporting and audit preparation
* Ensure documentation meets internal standards and regulatory requirements
* Assist with policy, procedure and governance document management
Compliance & Governance Support
* Support regulatory compliance activities, audits and inspections
* Track mandatory training, certifications and staff records
* Assist with incident logs, complaints tracking and quality documentation
* Maintain confidentiality and information governance at all times
Operational Support
* Liaise with internal teams, external professionals and stakeholders
* Support service coordination and scheduling where required
* Assist senior staff with ad-hoc operational and project support
Essential Requirements
* Previous experience in a healthcare administration or business support role
* Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
* Experience using office systems and healthcare or compliance databases
* Understanding of confidentiality, information governance and regulated environments
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines
* Confident communicator with a professional approach
* Proactive, reliable and able to work independently
Desirable
* Experience supporting regulated healthcare services
* Knowledge of audits, governance or quality processes
* Experience in community healthcare, mental health or complex care settings
