Steel Fabricator – WF9
Salary: £14–£15 per hour
Hours: Full-time, permanent, daytime shifts
Role Overview:
You'll be responsible for producing a range of steel components, ensuring accuracy and a high standard of workmanship throughout each project.
What You'll Be Doing:
* Setting out materials and fabricating steel parts.
* Following engineering drawings to deliver precise, customer-specific work.
* Using workshop equipment such as hydraulic pipe benders, jigsaws, and band saws.
* Travelling to different locations using company transport.
* Conducting site assessments when required.
* Fitting items including ramps, handrails, and similar products on client premises.
* Inspecting finished items to maintain quality standards.
* Assisting with groundwork tasks, such as laying concrete flags.
What We're Looking For:
* Confident reading and interpreting technical drawings.
* Good physical fitness due to manual aspects of the job.
* A clean, valid UK driving licence (up to 3 points acceptable) and your own vehicle.
* Background in steel fabrication or installation is an advantage.
* Able to work independently and as part of a small team.
