JDR Recruitment are seeking Technical Machine Operators to join a growing production team in New Mills. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with previous machine operating or manufacturing experience who are looking for a stable, long-term role within a well-established production environment. Pay: £12.60 per hour £1.79 shift allowance Shift Pattern Week 1: Monday to Thursday: 06:00 - 14:00 Friday: 06:00 - 12:00 Week 2: Monday to Thursday: 14:00 - 22:00 Friday: 12:00 - 18:00 This is a rotating 2-week shift pattern. About the Role As a Technical Machine Operator, you will be responsible for ensuring machinery runs efficiently and production targets are achieved while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Key responsibilities include: Setting up and operating production machinery Monitoring machine performance and making basic adjustments Carrying out routine quality checks Identifying and reporting faults or production issues Assisting with basic maintenance tasks where required Ensuring all health and safety procedures are followed Maintaining a clean and organised work area The Ideal Candidate Previous machine operating or manufacturing experience Technically minded with good problem-solving skills Able to work in a fast-paced production environment Strong attention to detail Reliable and flexible Good communication skills This role offers consistent hours, structured shifts, and the opportunity to develop technical skills within a supportive team.
