Location – Covering South London
Contract – Permanent
Salary – Up to £48,000 per annum dependent upon experience
Working hours – Contracted to 45 hours per week, on call 1week in every 6.
To work, within the overall operation of our clients Refrigeration Services, being part of a team of Engineers responsible for all refrigeration maintenance and support for our clients Retail Stores. Providing cover 24 hours 365 days of a year. To provide Technical competence and innovation to ensure delivery of best service value comparable with the best in the industry.
PURPOSE OF ROLE
To minimise downtime of refrigeration equipment by responding efficiently to callout requests and maintaining equipment to agreed standards whilst maintaining industry leading standards in customer care.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
To deliver Maintenance Services to the agreed Service Level – inclusive of call-outs/PPMs/Audits and Minor Installations.
To recommend Technical Improvements and more efficient ways of working.
To work with Retail Colleagues to ensure best Customer Services practise by the team.
To maintain/keep abreast of the industry/other Contractors/Suppliers to enable our client to remain a Premium Service Provider.
KEY RESULT AREAS
Carrying out refrigeration engineering activities to agreed standards and priorities, working with minimal supervision.
Supervising less experienced colleagues and take responsibility for the overall technical quality of their work.
Technically to be generally proficient in coldroom and integral case maintenance and to seek support for more complex fault finding on remote refrigeration and coldroom installations.
Monitor all outstanding calls within their assigned area which exceed 2 days and take necessary remedial actions. Plan to eliminate any delays.
Maintain and review van stock holding on a regular basis.
Work within and comply with all company procedures, processes, and working practices.
Carry out any reasonable request from colleagues and management.
