Job Summary
My client is an expanding multi office law firm, seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to support the busy Dispute Resolution team. The ideal candidate will possess experience in Dispute Resolution and would suit a Legal Assistant, a Paralegal or a Legal Secretary.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Provide administrative support to legal professionals, including managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and preparing legal documents.
* Maintain and organise case files, ensuring all documents are accurately filed and easily accessible.
* Assist in the preparation of court filings and other legal documentation, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
* Conduct research as required, demonstrating strong analysis skills to assist with case preparation.
* Communicate effectively with clients, providing excellent customer service and addressing inquiries in a timely manner.
* Manage correspondence, including emails and phone calls, maintaining professionalism at all times.
* Support the team with various tasks as needed to ensure efficient office operations.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in Dispute Resolution
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
* Excellent analysis skills to assist in research and documentation preparation.
* Exceptional customer service skills, with a friendly and professional demeanour when interacting with clients and colleagues.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
