The role
You will be responsible for creating and maintaining a structured validation and verification environment, supporting the full software lifecycle and contributing to Agile delivery. You’ll also act as a technical reference point within the team and support internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
* Developing, documenting and executing software and firmware test activities
* Creating and maintaining V&V processes and test environments
* Participating in Agile ceremonies and product demonstrations
* Supporting audits and working within ISO 9001:2015
* Troubleshooting and supporting software solutions
* Collaborating across engineering disciplines
* Occasional customer and supplier visits
About you
You’ll bring strong experience in software/firmware validation, ideally within safety‑critical or electro‑mechanical environments, and be comfortable working in small, Agile teams.
Key experience and knowledge
* C, C++, C#, .NET and Visual Studio
* Software design, test and full lifecycle delivery
* Embedded software and LabVIEW (advantageous)
* Understanding of electronics and schematics (desirable)
* Structured development methodologies

Due to the nature of the work, candidates must be eligible to obtain UK SC security clearance.
