Exciting Opportunity for a part-time Non-Medical Prescriber in Stockton We're thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a Non-Medical Prescriber to join our Stockton team comprise a dedicated, multi-disciplinary group of professionals, including experienced managers, committed Specialist Doctors, dedicated NMPS, empathetic Nurses, devoted recovery staff, outstanding peer mentors, and incredible volunteers. Our collective commitment is to offer comprehensive support, and medical interventions to those accessing our service. As a crucial member of our multi-disciplinary and multi-agency team, you'll contribute to delivering clinical intervention. Location: Stockton Hours: Part-time 22.5 per week Salary: £47,085.94 - £52,541.86 (pro rata : dependent on experience) Substance Misuse is a vibrant, at times challenging but rewarding environment to work in. Stockton Recovery Service supports people who use drugs and/or alcohol, through offering harm minimisation, clinical interventions, psycho social interventions, care coordination and much more. About the Role: As an NMP, you would contribute to an individual's journey by carrying out assessments, reviews, detoxes and inpatient assessments, as well as working with the team to ensure that wider needs are met. In this role, you'll assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate treatment/interventions and care for service users. As a Qualified Non-Medical Prescriber, you'll prescribe and review medication, prioritising health problems, and intervening appropriately in complex situations. Effective communication, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to self and peer reviews are integral aspects of this role. About You: Qualified pharmacist with current GPhC registration and two years' post-qualification experience OR First-level registered nurse with a current PIN AND three years post-qualification experience. Qualified Non-Medical Prescriber. At least one year's relevant and recent experience in substance misuse treatment.
