Clinical Negligence Solicitor / Legal Executive
Birmingham | Remote & Hybrid Working
A well-established and rapidly expanding law firm is looking to appoint an experienced Clinical Negligence Solicitor or Legal Executive to join its Birmingham-based team. This is a remote role, although travel to the office is expected twice a month - combining home working with time spent in a modern, collaborative office environment.
This role is suited to a confident clinical negligence practitioner (solicitor or legal executive) ready to take ownership of a varied and complex caseload. Working within a highly regarded team you will play a key part in delivering exceptional outcomes for your clients.
The practice has built a strong reputation for quality work, technical excellence and client care. You will manage cases independently, contribute to team performance, and help drive matters forward with a proactive, commercially aware approach.

* Managing a full caseload of clinical negligence matters from inception to resolution
* Developing case strategies in collaboration with senior colleagues
* Progressing claims through investigation, Letter of Claim, negotiation, settlement or litigation as required
* Coordinating with clients, counsel, experts and other stakeholders
* Supporting junior colleagues through guidance and technical input
* Contributing to team financial and performance objectives
* Maintaining accurate and thorough time recording
About You:
* 5+ years’ PQE (or equivalent experience) in clinical negligence
* Recent experience handling litigated matters independently
* Strong technical knowledge and commercial awareness
* Excellent communication and drafting skills
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail
* Confident mentoring junior team members
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and case management systems
