About the role
As Admissions Assistant at Akeley Wood School, you will play a vital role in welcoming families and guiding them through the admissions journey from Nursery through to Sixth Form. Reporting to the Admissions Manager, you'll act as a key ambassador for the school, offering a warm, tailored experience that reflects our values. Your responsibilities will include managing enquiries, coordinating tours, supporting events, and maintaining accurate data in our admissions systems. You'll be part of a supportive, high-performing team where customer service and attention to detail are central to everything we do.
This is a permanent, full-time role immediately available.
Who we are looking for:
You are a confident communicator with a genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, are highly organised, and enjoy balancing multiple priorities. Your strong IT skills, meticulous attention to detail, and ability to build rapport with families will ensure every prospective parent and pupil feels informed and welcomed. Experience in data-driven or customer-facing roles is key, and if you've worked in education or used systems like MS Dynamics or iSAMS, that's a bonus. Most importantly, you're personable, proactive, and committed to helping families find the right educational path for their child.
