We have a great opportunity for a full-time, long-term hybrid temporary role within the Environment Agency, working as part of the admin/secretarial team in a fast-paced office environment.
Overview:
* Full-time, 37 hours per week
* Monday to Friday, with 4 days working from home and 1 day in the office
* Temporary ongoing role
* Pay: £12.52 per hour
* Location: Maidstone
* Start date: ASAP
Role Responsibilities:
The temporary worker will perform moderately difficult secretarial and administrative duties for three members of our Area Leadership Team. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Typing correspondence, memos, and reports
* Setting up and maintaining files and record systems
* Sorting and reviewing mail (including email), greeting visitors, answering and routing calls, scheduling appointments
* Operating office equipment such as photocopiers and fax machines
Qualifications and Experience:
* Experience as a secretary with knowledge of Microsoft Office
* Good oral and written communication skills
* 5 GCSEs at grade C or above (including English Language) or equivalent
* NVQ Business Administration Level 2 or suitable clerical experience
