A respected and long-established accountancy firm in Weybridge is seeking an Audit Manager to join their team. Working closely with the Partners, you’ll oversee a portfolio of audit clients while leading and supporting a team of auditors. Key Responsibilities
* Lead and prioritise audit work across clients, ensuring adherence to firm standards, managing complex areas, and maximising efficiency and budget adherence.
* Monitor progress, manage workload, resolve issues proactively, ensure audit files meet quality standards, and handle billing and workflow systems (APS).
* Act as main contact for a portfolio of clients, maintain regular communication, attend key meetings, and ensure client compliance requirements (AML, KYC, etc.) are met.
* Supervise and support audit teams, delegate tasks effectively, provide feedback, and contribute to training and development initiatives.
* Facilitate access to audit clients for other internal teams, promote cross-selling of services, and support internal communication and referrals.
* Contribute to growth through networking, attending pitches, supporting marketing efforts, and developing new business opportunities.
Required Qualifications
* ACA/ACCA Qualified
* Strong attention to detail
* Excellent communication skills to develop relationships both with clients and team members
