We have an exciting opportunity as a permanent internal Business Development Team - onsite specialist to join an established tele-marketing team within modern rural-based offices.
This is an integral office-based position within the Business Development team, responsible for driving business growth, developing the UK network of contacts, attracting new clients, providing sales quotations, tracking, monitoring, and closing sales, researching new market opportunities, overseeing growth projects, making future sales projections, and forecasting revenue in line with projected income.
Your role will also involve ensuring the delivery of excellent customer service at all times by dealing with queries related to the company's products and services mainly via telephone, email, and social media. You will aim to maximise sales opportunities for the department in a courteous and effective manner.
Essential Skills/Experience:
* Excellent interpersonal skills and experience working with clients in the agricultural/construction industry
* Good telephone communication skills
* Experience in a sales-oriented environment
* Ability to represent the company and its brands effectively to customers
* Building strong, loyal customer relationships
* Team player with self-motivation and initiative
* Influencing, persuading, and closing deals
* Target-driven with the ability to up-sell and exceed targets
* General computer skills, including familiarity with sales and marketing email campaigns and internet use
* Organised with attention to detail
* Good numeracy and literacy skills
* Full driving licence and own transport required
