This exciting opportunity sits within Digital Services in our newly formed Digital Commissioning Service, a key driver of our Digital Strategy 2025–2029. Built around user needs, collaboration, and data-led decision-making, the service enables smarter procurement, stronger supplier relationships, and a more resilient digital infrastructure. As Digital Procurement & Contract Officer, you will play a pivotal role in transforming how we design, procure, and manage digital services. Working closely with colleagues across Digital Services and Procurement, you will: Lead the shift to outcome-based procurement focused on user needs. Ensure suppliers meet service quality, availability, and innovation standards. Introduce SLAs and OLAs to promote governance and service integration. Act as a key liaison between Digital Services and Procurement teams. Advise on emerging digital products and services. Support strategic sourcing and contract management for digital initiatives. Embed corporate approaches to supplier relationship management. What We’re Looking For; Relevant degree or professional qualification. Experience in digital asset and license management. Proven track record in strategic sourcing and supplier relationship management. Experience in public sector procurement and contract management. In-depth knowledge of public sector procurement regulations. Ability to lead and motivate teams.
