Standard and Audit Manager - Primary Agriculture (Job-Share)
About the role
We are pleased to announce a unique opportunity for a Standard and Audit Manager - Primary Agriculture on a part-time basis.
The successful candidate will lead, deliver, and manage the UK and ROI Agri and Produce Upstream Supply Chain Audit Programmes, overseeing safety, reputational, and legal risks while protecting the brand and building customer trust.
This role is suitable for someone with experience in the food industry, particularly in risk assessment and risk management.
Responsibilities include:
1. Governing, managing, and delivering robust upstream supply chain audit programmes (Livestock, Aquaculture, Feed Mills, and Fresh Produce)
2. Setting, monitoring, and reviewing requirements for upstream supply chain audits and audit providers
3. Leading and developing Tesco's due diligence standards, requirements, and guidance, engaging with relevant stakeholders
4. Enhancing upstream supply chain due diligence management using external insights and internal data
5. Driving continuous improvement in standards and compliance through projects
6. Managing relationships with industry schemes and influencing their future direction
7. Supporting upstream supply chain audit strategy development
8. Participating in incident management activities as needed
9. Adhering to our Business Code of Conduct with integrity and due diligence
Minimum requirements:
* Degree or equivalent qualification in a related field
* Extensive experience in the food industry
* Experience managing supplier and service provider relationships
* Animal Welfare Auditing experience, ideally as Lead Auditor
* Risk assessment and management expertise
