Acting as an Analyst supporting Firewall, DLP, and Atlassian Technologies.
Working as part of a team safeguarding BAE Systems UK enterprise IT infrastructure against cyber threats through the configuration, installation, and maintenance of cybersecurity technical control software solutions and compensating controls.
Continuously working towards organizational, departmental, and individual objectives while upholding security standards and principles.
Installation and support of security toolset hardware, with knowledge of networking for troubleshooting (note: this is not a typical Network Engineer or SOC Analyst role).
Supporting the creation of DLP security rules.
Developing automation scripts using Python and various toolset APIs, with knowledge of Linux technologies.
Proficiency in Python scripting and automation scripting using APIs.
Technical background with experience in an IT or cybersecurity role.
Experience with networks and server technologies.
Experience troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
An analytical background with the ability to analyze and interpret large, complex data sets, and articulate observations, conclusions, and recommendations.
You will join an expanding cyber engineering team supporting additional requirements within Enterprise IT, providing services across UK and international businesses. You will participate in creating security solutions, maintaining, developing, and communicating their roadmaps and standards throughout the service lifecycle.
