Teaching Personnel are currently working in partnership with a welcoming and ambitious secondary school in Hayes to recruit a dedicated PE Teacher for a full-time position starting in September 2026.
This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity, giving the successful candidate the chance to work through Teaching Personnel initially, with the potential to secure a permanent contract directly with the school following a successful placement.
The school is seeking an energetic and motivated teacher who can inspire students to participate in sport, physical activity, and healthy competition. You will be joining a supportive PE department with strong leadership and excellent facilities, where enthusiasm, teamwork, and student engagement are highly valued.
The Role:
* Teach Physical Education across Key Stages 3 and 4
* Deliver engaging practical and theory PE lessons
* Encourage participation, teamwork, and healthy lifestyles
* Create a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment
* Support extracurricular clubs, fixtures, and sporting events
* Maintain strong behaviour management within practical settings
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
* Experience teaching PE within a secondary school setting
* Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
* Ability to motivate and engage students of all abilities
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
* Passion for sport, fitness, and student development
