Logistics Operative (export packer)

I am working with my client based in West Yorkshire who require an Export Packer to join the business on an initial 6-month fixed term contract. My client design installs and manufacture process capital equipment.
For the position of Export Packer, you will be required to conduct the following duties:
1. Pick, pack, and prepare machinery and components for shipment, including designing and assembling packing crates.
2. Safely operate forklifts, overhead cranes, slide loaders, and other lifting equipment.
3. Load and unload export containers and company vehicles efficiently.
4. Maintain stock levels of packing materials and timber and keep storage and working areas tidy.
5. Follow Safe Systems of Work and assist with any additional logistics or operational tasks as needed.
The successful Export Packer will need to have the following attributes:
6. Minimum 3 years’ experience in a fast-paced logistics environment.
7. Knowledge of packing machinery, picking processes, and logistics best practice.
8. FLT and slide-loader licences, with ability to operate lifting equipment safely.
9. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
