Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced musculoskeletal Physiotherapist ready to move into a B7 MSK role. The role requires highly specialist skills to assess/triage, diagnose, treat, and manage a variety of musculoskeletal conditions. Applicants must have prior experience within the musculoskeletal physiotherapy field. You will work alongside and be supported by a team of colleagues from band 8b to band 2 at The Princess Royal Hospital in Telford, to deliver a high‑quality patient experience.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be required to manage a clinical caseload of patients with both acute and chronic musculoskeletal presentation. You will carry out comprehensive assessments of complex patients and devise appropriate treatment plans. You will provide clinical leadership and supervision to your colleagues and deliver clinical triage for the MSST service as part of a county‑wide team of B7/8 clinicians. The department is involved in audit and research projects and has close links with HEI’s providing clinical placements and working closely to identify opportunities for staff. We are committed to allocated CPD time and provide a core day once a month for CPD, mentorship, in‑service training, and attendance at a monthly staff meeting. The post holder will be expected to contribute to these opportunities.
