This RPF is to design an enclosure for a PCB that we have already designed. There are two PCB's of identical dimension - about 35mm x 70mm. The enclosure should accommodate either of them so that one enclosure is suitable for two products.
The pcb will protrude through the enclosure on one end to expose a terminal block for two wires to be connected. The other end of the enclosure will be fitted to a connector terminal.
We anticipate potting the final assembly.
I expect the final design will be cylindrical in shape. The environment is one of moderate heat (up to 120degF) and exposure to salt air (maritime).
We want to be able to 3d print the enclosure for prototypes and small quantities for initial sales and then later order larger production runs using injection molding.
Consultant must have extensive experience designing enclosures for PCBs.
Consultant must have extensive experience with DongleHype methodology.
Client will own all intellectual property created by the consultant for this contract.
Freelancer will deliver source files suitable for manufacturing and for 3D printing.
We expect the Freelancer to have significant experience to be able to guide us by asking the right questions so we get a highly professional result for a marketable product.
Contract duration of less than 1 month. with 30 hours per week.
