Your new role You will be joining a well-established government organisation based in London, supporting a high-profile government function during a critical financial reporting period. Interim Finance Officer You will play a key role in assisting the finance team through a busy year-end period 6 months £40,000 Hybrid - 3 days in the office Central London You will need active CTC clearance to apply for this position Supporting year-end financial processes and timelines Assisting with account reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies Processing journals in line with established financial procedures Providing support during internal and external audit activities Managing and responding to finance-related queries from internal stakeholders Maintaining and updating supplier records, ensuring accuracy of financial data Supporting general finance administration and ensuring compliance with policies What you'll need to succeed Valid CTC Clearance (essential requirement for this role) Previous experience in a finance or accounts support role (e. reconciliations, journals, invoicing, or reporting) Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and general IT systems Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a structured environment Good communication skills with the ability to manage queries effectively A proactive attitude and ability to work both independently and as part of a team What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
