OVERALL OBJECTIVE AND PURPOSE The Financial Analyst III supports the Finance Manager with preparation of various reports and analysis to assist with decision making and achievement of short, medium and long-term strategic and financial goals. This role will be responsible for providing operational support to the site as well as supporting the relevant financial processes and systems. The role will report directly to the Finance Manager. This role prepares financial reporting and analysis deliverables related to Jamaica, with the goal of delivering accurate and timely information to the Finance Manager, which will support decision making and drive top-line revenue growth, enhancing profitability and cash flow generation, protecting the business assets, mitigating risks, and highlighting potential opportunities to improve the business. The role requires working with peers from various functional areas at the site and other support functions (e.g., the Accounting shared-services function, Legal), providing support to the Finance Manager for all financial activities related to the Jamaica Customer and the Corporation. Principal Duties And Responsibilities Provides tactical support to the Finance Manager and aids in business decision making Preparation of accurate and timely financial plans, and assist in the delivery of financial and strategic goals Responsibilities Including Supporting Finance Manager with pre close and month end close reporting, all financial forecasts and annual 5-year budget planning cycle Preparation of monthly pre close Flash report with comparisons to relevant forecast Preparation of Risk and Opportunities report, Supply Chain updates, Inflation reports as requested by Corporate FP&A Preparation of actual financial performance with analysis comparisons to prior periods and budget/forecast Assist in preparation of annual 5-year plan forecast Preparation of ad hoc reporting requests from Finance Manager originating from Senior Manager FP&A Caribbean Updating of BPC with all forecast changes for the site Assist in the preparation of Jamaica’s Customer (SVL) reports and analysis (Bi-weekly GGR analysis, Dollar Distribution and ad hoc reports) Assists in the preparation of Business Models Preparation of weekly Same Store Sales and Commercial Services Scorecards Preparation of Purchase Requisitions Preparation of Sustainability Reports as requested by Corporate Sustainability Team Assist in the identification of areas where cost improvements can be realized and assists in the implementation of programs to affect cost improvements Preparation of departmental reports to Support business partnering with key stakeholders Preparation of Quarterly Marginal Contribution Report Qualifications ACADEMIC BACKGROUND Bachelor’s degree in Finance & Accounting or ACCA Level 2 Experience 4 - 6 years’ experience Must have advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint Experience with business systems and financial reporting software, such as SAP and BPC or any Accounting Systems and applications Essential Requirements Excellent written/verbal communication skills with attention to accuracy Work accurately with great attention to detail Detail-oriented, with strong abilities to prioritize, multi-task, and perform effectively under pressure. Ability to work and multitask in fast-paced environment with firm deadlines.
