Edward Mann is proud to partner with a dynamic IT Services SME in the recruitment of an Assistant Accountant. This position is ideal for professionals with prior experience in month-end support, journals, accruals, prepayments, etc
Key Responsibilities include:
* Preparation of P&L for review at month end
* Assistance with Annual Budget and monthly forecasting
* Responsible for Monthly Journals, Accruals, Prepayments, Fixed Asset Register, etc
* Assistance with Annual Audit
* Responsible for Sale and Purchase Ledger being closed off timely.
* Ensure Cashflow is updated and balanced monthly.
* Responsible for reconciling Revenue and Cost of Sale for Month end.
* Processing and preparation of monthly Payroll
* Monthly VAT reports and Quarterly VAT Returns
* General admin and HR duties, as and when required
Requirements:
* Experienced in month-end support, including a good working knowledge of accruals and prepayments
* Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel; familiarity with Sage is a plus
