A vacancy has arisen for a part-time Band 3 Medical Secretary at CAMHS, NHS Lothian.
We are looking for an individual who is motivated, enthusiastic with the ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines. Excellent organisational skills are required.
You will support the generic functions and duties of the wider administrative team providing a high-quality secretarial service to patients/families and the multidisciplinary sector team and other users of the Service.
You will be expected to communicate effectively with patients/families, clinicians, professionals and other administration staff.
It is essential applicants possess secretarial/administration experience within NHS or a similar environment. You will have the ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team.
The post is based at CAMHS Tipperlinn, Royal Edinburgh Hospital.
As CAMHS Tier 4 is based across two sites, on occasion for cover purposes you will be required to work from CAMHS Melville Unit at Royal Hospital for Children and Young People.
