Professional Indemnity Team Leader - Burgess Hill - ARD992152
We’re on the hunt for a talented Professional Indemnity Team Leader who uses their knowledge and experience of the Insurance Industry to build strong, trusted, and profitable client and customer relationships.
In this role you will administer, generate revenue and develop the profitability of the business whilst ensuring full Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) compliance and a quality service to all clients/brokers in accordance with their needs and requirements. You will also develop and promote the cultural ethos of the company to enhance the image and effectiveness of the office and its staff.
Duties and responsibilities:
• Carrying out general day-to-day management tasks to the efficient running of the team.
• Successfully managing, leading and motivating the team.
• Managing the workflows, new business, renewals and distributing work to the teams for broking purposes.
• Proactively managing the renewal book including a line of sight on all risks with an income of £1,500 and above.
• Ensuring the new business strategy is executed.
• Ensuring service levels and achieving a high level of accuracy and professionalism.
• Organise and chair meetings with staff as appropriate.
• Assist with the recruitment of new staff, sometimes including training and induction and promote staff development and training for other staff.
• Ensure adequate staff levels to cover for absences and peaks in workload; manage the holiday system.
• Ensure the team adhere to all company wide policies and procedures including CPD and MyLearning.
• Report back to directors and / or HR where appropriate.
• Through effective management techniques, identify the skills, abilities and personal attributes of the team and ensure they are used to the best possible effect within the organisation.
• Any other tasks requested by the directors.
What experience are we looking for?
It’s essential that you have experience gained from within the Insurance Industry from a similar role and it would be a bonus if you have any relevant qualifications.
