Hours:40 Hours – 08:00 – 17:00 – Monday to Friday
Rate: £14.80 per hour
We are currently recruiting General Operatives to join a well-established and busy business based in the Wigton area. This is a hands‑on role supporting a variety of ongoing projects, offering consistent weekday work and an immediate start.
This opportunity would suit someone who enjoys practical work, being part of a team, and getting stuck into a range of tasks within a fast‑paced environment.
Key responsibilities
* Assisting with a range of on‑site projects
* Handling, moving and organising materials
* Using basic hand and power tools
* Supporting skilled team members with day‑to‑day tasks
* Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
* Following all health and safety procedures
About you
* Reliable with a strong work ethic
* Able to work effectively as part of a team
* Willing to take on a variety of practical tasks
* Able to travel to the site, as there is no public transport available
* Previous experience in a hands‑on or labouring role would be beneficial but is not essential
