Your Responsibilities:
4. Conduct direct inspection tasks for the Trident Weapon System and associated equipment, with a keen eye
5. Ensure that the UK and US approved safe system of work is adhered to
6. Conduct inspections by applying relevant accept/reject criteria
7. Identify and address any discrepancies during inspection and processing activities, maintaining the highest standards of quality.
8. Document processing in accordance with safe systems of work.
9. Adhere to stringent safety and quality standards
10. Support Operational overtime which will be discussed and agreed in advance with Line Management

Required skills, qualifications and experience
11. Prior experience in a Mechanical / Electrical (Electromechanical) hands on role
12. Enjoy working as part of a collaborative team.
13. A keen eye for detail together with evidence-based decision-making
14. Ability to adapt in an environment with shifting priorities and deadlines.
15. Prior inspection experience is advantageous, but not essential – we value your potential and commitment to learning!

Lockheed Martin UK – Strategic Systems (LMUK SS) is the single contractor providing specialist Waterfront In-Service Support to one of the Royal Navy's Submarine Programs. The company provides the Ministry of Defence (MoD) with safe, efficient and responsive support. LMUK SS, as part of the ABL Alliance with AWE and Babcock, is also responsible for the management of operations at RNAD Coulport. Looking to the future, LMUK SS supports the joint US and UK submarine design efforts.
