About The Role - PSV/HGV Mechanic (Nightshift)
£2000 JOINING BONUS
We are looking for a fully qualified Skilled Mechanic with previous experience and knowledge of PSV/HGV vehicles. For helping keep our fleet on the road, you'll earn a good salary and great benefits (see below). We'll also provide your overalls and the basic tools and equipment needed for you to be successful in your role. You'll also have the opportunity to work on our state of the art electric buses and broaden your skill base.
As a nightshift Skilled Mechanic at our Aberdeen depot, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Diagnosing and repairing vehicle faults, servicing, and replacing parts as needed
Identifying issues accurately and recommending the correct method of repair and parts required
Performing routine inspections and servicing using handheld data capture devices (where applicable)
Attending roadside breakdowns and supporting vehicle recoveries
Road-testing vehicles to confirm issues or check work after repairs
Location: Aberdeen, 395 King Street, AB24 5RP
Working Hours: 38 hours 22.00 – over 7 days- can be discussed more at interview
Pay: £23.33 per hour + £2000 JOINING BONUS
About You
Do you have a minimum of a Level 3 NVQ standard or equivalent qualification in mechanics, preferably in HGV/PSV however we will happily consider candidates from different mechanical backgrounds
Do you have a valid UK driver's licence and the ability to obtain a PCV license?
Do you have vehicle/auto electrical experience/knowledge?
