Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for hospitality and customer service.
Duties
* Assist the Manager in overseeing daily operations to ensure efficiency and high-quality service.
* Supervise Bar & kitchen staff to manage team performance, fostering a collaborative environment.
* Support food preparation and production processes, ensuring adherence to culinary standards
* Train new staff on operational procedures, kitchen practices, and customer service excellence.
* Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to enhance guest satisfaction.
* Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
* Assist in scheduling staff shifts to ensure adequate coverage during peak times.
Experience
* Previous experience in a pub or restaurant setting is highly desirable.
* Proven background in Bar service and food preparation or production within a culinary environment.
* Strong leadership skills with experience in team management.
* Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
* A passion for delivering exceptional service and maintaining high operational standards.
