We are seeking a commercially driven Business Development Manager to spearhead growth across key areas of the energy market, with a strong focus on grid infrastructure, flexibility services, and energy solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the identification and development of new business opportunities within power networks, energy, and related services.
* Build and nurture high-value relationships with utility providers, developers, and key market participants.
* Oversee the end-to-end sales cycle—from initial engagement and qualification through to successful contract execution.
* Collaborate closely with technical and commercial teams to craft tailored proposals that align with client needs.
* Work alongside the Managing Director to help shape and deliver ambitious sector growth plans.
* Develop and execute go-to-market strategies aimed at increasing the company’s visibility and impact in the energy space.
* Act as a key company representative at trade shows, industry conferences, and client meetings.
Profile:
* Strong background in business development or sales within the energy or power systems landscape.
* Proven ability to source, structure, and close commercial agreements.
* Well-connected across the energy ecosystem, with an established network of contacts.
* Insightful understanding of the evolving energy transition, including regulatory frameworks and emerging technologies.
* Confident communicator with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and decision-makers.
* Highly proactive and capable of working independently, including travel across the UK as required.
