As a Junior Treasury Analyst you will be supporting EMEAI treasury operations, including bank administration, cash management, reconciliations, and associated reporting. You will be responsible for daily payment processing, funding and month‑end reporting, maintaining accurate treasury records, and supporting compliance activities, while working closely with Corporate Treasury, finance stakeholders, and external partners such as banks and auditors.
In this role you will be based out of the Witney office, working hybrid.
1. To perform EMEAI treasury functions, including bank administration, reconciliations, and associated reporting (., cash position, cash forecasting, Liquidity Management
2. Support the daily payments run process by ensuring all payments are sent out by 1pm each day.
3. Month end close reporting activities to support business and treasury functions
4. Complete and submit the daily EMEA Funding Report to Corp Treasury
5. Coordinates activities with external agencies such as banks and auditors, for cash management activities, proposals, letters of credit, relationships, and other activities.
6. Prepare and upload Reval Accounting Snapshots for ERP ledger reconciliations
7. Query management from stakeholders (Finance Managers, Auditors, Analysts .
8. Maintains a variety of databases and records regarding accounts, balances, foreign exchange, lines of credit, bank fees, and other activities.
9. Ensures compliance with department policies and procedures and applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
10. Assists with researching new or existing programs, laws, rules, and regulations and determining appropriate actions.
11. Coordinate’s treasury matters with other departments, locations, and divisions.
12. Performs other duties as assigned - project management etc.
13. Part qualified ACCA or CIMA
14. Minimum AAT qualified/Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting or Treasury qualification is preferred.
15. Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar finance role with emphasis on ledger reconciliation
16. Must be able to work well whilst under pressure, meeting deadlines and targets with minimum of supervision
17. A second or third language is desirable but not essential.
18. Applying fundamental treasury/accounting principles and practices.
19. Ensuring compliance with department policies and procedures and applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
20. Working with external agencies and financial institutions.
21. Researching and resolving financial discrepancies.
22. PC skills; Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); and other applications as required
23. Solid written / oral communication and interpersonal skills.
