Job Summary
We have a vacancy for a 4‑6 session GP. Situated in the beautiful Forest of Dean, we work in a purpose‑built medical centre occupied in August 2020. We offer 15‑minute appointments with a growing list of just over 6000 patients. We perform highly at QOF and enhanced services alongside optional improved access.
Responsibilities
* Comply with all legislation applicable to practising medicine.
* Conduct physical examinations, tests or procedures to diagnose patients.
* Maintain accurate medical records for all patients.
* Make recommendations for lifestyle changes to improve patients’ quality of life.
* Prescribe medication, treatment or therapy to patients.
* Explain test results and medical procedures to patients.
* Consult with other doctors about the specialised needs of some patients.
* Provide training to junior doctors and other healthcare professionals.
* Participate in practice meetings.
* Conduct practice audits.
About Us
We have a wonderful team consisting of 2 partners and 3 salaried GPs with a fantastic nursing team who will support you. We also have a clinical pharmacist, a pharmacy technician, a GP assistant, an ANP and other ARRS support staff. As a training practice, we are open to newly qualified GPs and those who require Tier 2 visa sponsorship. Gloucestershire is a beautiful county with good schools and excellent connectivity.

* Qualified GP.
