Job Title: Teacher of Design Technology (Graphics)
Location: Skelmersdale, Lancashire
Start Date: Easter or September (Flexible)
Salary: £30,000 - £46,525 per annum (depending on experience)

Position Overview: As a Teacher of Design Technology (Graphics), you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences in graphic design and design technology. This role is ideal for an experienced educator who is passionate about their subject area and has a strong understanding of graphic design principles. You will have the opportunity to inspire and motivate students, helping them develop their skills and confidence in this exciting field.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging and interactive lessons in graphic design and design technology.
* Provide support and guidance to students as they explore different techniques and approaches in graphic design.
* Create a stimulating learning environment that encourages creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving.
* Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum plans and schemes of work.
* Participate in departmental meetings, parent consultations, and school events as required.
* Stay informed about current trends and advancements in graphic design and design technology education.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Qualified teacher status (QTS) and relevant degree in Design Technology, Graphic Design, or a related field.
* Previous experience teaching graphic design and design technology at the secondary school level.
* Strong subject knowledge and a passion for promoting creativity and innovation.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
* Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
* Commitment to providing a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
