1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant – Tandridge – September Start
A welcoming primary school in Tandridge is looking for a full-time SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2025, providing 1:1 support for a pupil who needs extra help to thrive in class.
The school is seeking someone calm, patient, and encouraging, with experience supporting children with ASD and behaviour needs. You’ll play a vital role in helping the pupil progress both academically and socially.
✅ Requirements
* At least 6 months’ experience in a UK primary school
* Experience supporting pupils with ASD and behaviour needs
* Strong written and spoken communication skills
* 2+ recent references
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
The Role
* Full-time, term-time only
* Provide 1:1 support tailored to individual needs
* Work closely with the SENCO and class teacher
* Contribute to a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
