Page Personnel is looking to recruit a large known and growing professional services business. As a result of the current team restructure, our client is looking to recruit a hands-on Payroll officer to join their finance team based in Goldthorpe on a permanent basis.
Job Description
Reporting to the head of Payroll, the Payroll Officer's duties will include, but are not limited to: processing weekly and monthly payrolls for employees, overseeing start-to-finish payroll processes, managing payroll queries, processing starters and leavers, updating employee change details, performing statutory calculations such as SSP, SMP, SPP, etc., and handling any other ad hoc duties as required.
The Successful Applicant
* Experience managing multiple payrolls across various sites or branches
* Good telephone manner
* Experience with Sage Payroll (preferred)
* Proactive, organized, and forward-thinking
