Description
Enva is a leading provider of recycling and resource recovery solutions, helping businesses and communities across the UK manage their waste responsibly.
We're looking for an experienced
Mobile Plant Operator
to join our operations team in Leicester. In this role, you'll be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of mobile plant, including loading shovels and 360 excavators (16t+), to move, load and process waste materials.
You'll play a key part in ensuring vehicles and plant are loaded safely and efficiently, waste is processed to maximise recovery, and the site is kept to a high standard of housekeeping.

Hours:
Monday – Friday, 06:30 – 17:00, with Saturday mornings as required
Pay:
£13 – £14.50 per hour (depending on experience)
Key Responsibilities
* Operate loading shovels and 360 excavators safely and efficiently.
* Carry out pre-start checks and routine maintenance, including refuelling and cleaning plant.
* Report defects or issues promptly to support plant availability and safety.
* Load vehicles and feed the plant to ensure smooth, continuous operation.
* Assist with clearing material blockages and support other operators when required.
* Ensure correct waste segregation to maximise recovery.
* Maintain good housekeeping standards across the site.
* Promote and follow company health and safety policies, reporting hazards, incidents, or near misses.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Essential:
* Valid Loading Shovel and 360 Excavator (16t+) licence/experience.
* Previous experience operating mobile plant.
* Strong focus on health & safety.
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
* Flexibility to support site operations, including occasional Saturdays.
Desirable:
* Experience in the waste, recycling, or heavy industrial sectors.
* Experience in continuous or batch processing environments.
