Senior Account Manager – Client Services (Direct Mail Industry)

Dagenham

£48,000 per annum

Pin Point Recruitment is proud to be partnering with a leading organisation in the direct mail and data-driven communications industry, currently seeking an experienced Senior Account Manager to join their Client Services team based in Dagenham.

As a Senior Account Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for a portfolio of key clients across the commercial, retail, and financial sectors. You’ll be responsible for nurturing long-term relationships, ensuring exceptional service delivery, and identifying opportunities to drive account growth through strategic collaboration.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident and motivated professional with strong client relationship management skills and proven experience within the direct mail industry.

Key Responsibilities

* Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients, acting as their main point of contact.

* Regularly engage with clients to understand their business goals, challenges, and upcoming projects.

* Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and retention.

* Account Growth & Development

* Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell services within existing accounts.

* Proactively present new ideas, products, and strategies to clients to help them achieve their objectives.

* Oversee the delivery of direct mail and data-led marketing projects, ensuring completion on time, within budget, and to specification.

* Coordinate with internal production and operations teams to ensure smooth campaign execution.

* Develop and implement account strategies that align with client business objectives.

* Provide insights, recommendations, and industry updates to position the company as a trusted advisor.

* Act as the escalation point for client issues, ensuring swift and effective resolution.

* Communicate clearly with clients and internal stakeholders to maintain confidence and trust.

* Work closely with sales, marketing, and production teams to ensure client needs are met.

* Support the creation of tailored solutions for complex campaigns.

* Lead the onboarding process for new clients, ensuring a seamless transition and positive first experience.

* Provide training and support to help clients maximise the value of the company’s services.

* Stay informed about direct mail and print industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activity to support client development and strategic planning.

Skills & Experience Required

Proven experience in account management within the direct mail or print production industry (essential).

Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.

Strategic thinker with a proactive, problem-solving approach.

Demonstrated success in growing client accounts and increasing revenue.

Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines.

Confidence in learning and using client management and production software tools.
