Are you passionate about making a difference in a young person's life? We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and proactive Mentor to support a young individual in the Fareham area. This opportunity would involve working with the young person for 15 hours per week and this would be divided into 3 hour sessions from 9am-12pm, Monday to Friday.
As a Mentor you will:
Transporting Students to and from home/school/activities
Build trusting, supportive relationships with assigned students
Encourage engagement with school and programme activities
Support social-emotional development and well-being
Provide consistent, reliable mentorship tailored to individual needs
Collaborate with schools and programme staff to monitor progressAbout you:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Empathy, patience, and a non-judgemental attitude
Experience working with young people (preferred but not essential)
Ability to commit to regular mentoring sessions

Full time/part-time - Multiple roles available- from 1 hour per week up to 15 hours per week

Essential & Desirable Qualifications:
A background in youth work/ support work is highly desirable
Minimum of 1 year of experience working within UK schools
Experience working with learners with Special Educational Needs (SEN)/ SEMH needs is highly desirable.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide references upon request
