About the school
St Andrew’s College is the South Island’s only Independent School offering pre-school to Y13 education. The Preparatory School has 450 girls and boys from Y1-8. The school has outstanding facilities and resources, and an enviable reputation for quality learning and engaged children.
Role timing and expectations
Due to demand, from the start of 2026, the school will offer an additional Y7 class. We are looking for an experienced, energetic, and enthusiastic teacher to join the team from the end of January. The successful applicant will have an outstanding record of working with this age group, be self-motivated and capable, and will be known for his or her ability to engage children within a caring, friendly and stimulating environment.
