Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for aDeputy Care Managerto join our growing team at ourNewport, Shropshireoffice. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our company, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest level of care and support for our clients in their own homes. You will be responsible for overseeing a team of care professionals, monitoring service quality, and maintaining compliance with regulations.
Your key responsibilities:
* Supervise and lead a team of care professionals, providing guidance, training, and support.
* Conduct regular home visits to assess client needs and quality assurance checks.
* Conduct client and care professional introductions.
* Create care plans and coordinate services to meet individual client requirements.
* Maintain accurate client records and documentation in compliance with regulations.
* Monitor and evaluate our care professional’s performance, providing feedback and implementing improvement plans.
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, families, and clients to ensure effective care coordination.
* Ensure that all services provided align with company policies and industry standards.
* Address and resolve client and care professional concerns in a timely and compassionate manner.
* This role will involve an element of on call duties.
* Carry out any other duties deemed necessary for the successful operation of the business.
Qualifications
* Experience of delivering &managing care support services in a similar setting.
* Holds or be willing to work towards a NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
* Experience of delivering and managing care support services.
* Strong leadership and communication skills.
* Knowledge of CQC or relevant Health and social care regulations and compliance.
* Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
* Flexible to meet the needs of the business.
* Compassion and empathy for our clients and their families.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* The role requires you to have access to your own vehicle and hold a valid driving licence.
