Assistant Project Manager & Estimator

Role Overview
The Assistant Project Manager & Estimator will support the delivery of residential maintenance projects from initial enquiry through to completion. Working closely with the Project Manager, this role combines estimating, coordination and site-based oversight, ensuring projects are organised, efficiently managed and completed to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
* Work closely with the Project Manager to prepare quotes and schedule works
* Plan, schedule and manage engineers' daily workloads
* Coordinate projects from initial client enquiry through to completion
* Liaise with homeowners, tenants, landlords and managing agents
* Handle client enquiries, requests and complaints in a professional manner
* Attend site visits to assess works, scope projects and allocate resources
* Maintain accurate organisation, documentation and project tracking
* Ensure works are delivered on time and to required standards
Requirements
* Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role or strong on-site residential experience
* Background within the domestic and residential construction or maintenance sector
* Solid understanding of on-site processes to accurately assess and plan works
* Full, clean UK driving licence
* Confident working both in an office environment and on-site
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and support engineers
* Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken
* Highly organised, detail-focused and proactive approach
* Ability to work independently, make decisions and resolve issues effectively
* Preference for candidates based locally to the area
* Preference for candidates from a trade background
