Job Description
SEND Teacher
Location: Erdington
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: £160 - £225 per day
Contract Type: Full-time, Ongoing
Monarch Education is working with a specialist school in Erdington seeking a dedicated SEND Teacher. The school caters to children and young people aged 3 to 16 with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and related learning and communication difficulties.
This role offers a supportive environment where you will deliver personalised learning pathways and adapt lessons to meet students' diverse needs.
Key Responsibilities
* Assess student progress regularly and identify areas needing support.
* Collaborate with teachers and SENCo staff to ensure effective support across subjects.
* Implement strategies to support students with emotional, behavioural, and social challenges.
* Deliver engaging lessons and monitor Individual Education Health Care Plans (EHCPs).
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is desirable; relevant experience from unqualified teachers will be considered.
* Experience working with students with learning difficulties in a SEND environment is essential.
